“Hailing from extremely old vines, some up to 150 years old and cultivated in Milo, the spiritual home of Carricante, this deeply golden colored white is macerated for 8-10 months on the skins and aged in 20hl French oak casks followed by two and a half years of bottle age before release. It has aromas of hazelnut, ripe yellow apple skin, flinty mineral, sea breeze and hints of petrol. Showing elegant restraint, freshness and depth, the dry palate is also mineral-driven, delivering lychee, unsweetened lemon drop, stone fruit, intense salinity and balsamic notes recalling eucalyptus.
